Reimagining how we interact with our natural environment; how best can we live alongside nature? What have we learnt from the past? At this construction workshop, we’ll using recycled cardboard. We will create models and paintings of nature spaces and look at creative ways we can encourage biodiversity within.

Children will led by demonstration and have the opportunity to explore the possibilities of Print and Collage. We’ll have lots of fun in the making of Christmas cards. I know it's very early, but this way you'll have lots of time to post them to your loved ones around the world.

Timetabled workshops will take place at Muckross The Schoolhouse. Suitable for primary school children of all ages. Younger children are welcome to join in with the help of a parent/guardian. Join us at Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray celebrate Samhain and create your own Trick or Treat Tote! You will design your bag and then bring it to life using paint and paint markers, creating your very own Spooky Tote. Suitable for 4-12 years, there are two 1 hour long workshops for children aged 4-12 years, 11am - 12pm and 12:30pm - 1:30pm.

Join Me and The Moon this Culture Night at Collis Sandes House!

Using drawing tools, each child will develop their own story scene elements and characters, which will be added to a large group mural. Over the course of Culture Night, a story begins to emerge as our mural develops.

Timetabled workshops will take place at Collis Sandes House. Suitable for primary school children of all ages (5-12 years). Parent and child workshop (no drop-offs) and adults are encouraged to join in the fun.

Me and The Moon are excited to return to Mallow Arts Fest 2024!

We’ll be facilitating free painting, print and clay workshops for children of all ages.

There will be a combination of drop-in painting at easels (drop-in, suitable for all ages), as well as timetabled clay and collage workshops (suitable for 5–12 year olds).

Children's Art Workshops at with Me and The Moon at Collis Sandes House, Tralee

Cruinniú na nÓg is a day of free creativity for children and young people all across Ireland. To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg, children will explore cyanotype and monotype print using objects from nature. Weather permitting, we’ll venture into Collis Sandes Woods to collect found items from nature, which we’ll bring back and use as part of our workshop. Children will be led by demonstration and will have lots of fun in the making.

Join Me and The Moon at The Fruit Room studio, within the walled gardens at Killruddery, for a fun day of free creativity.

Draw, blot, cut, paste and paint at Cruinniú na nÓg 2024 with Me and The Moon at Killruddery. We will look at the walled garden with our artists eye, then return to the studio and together create a mural using blot printing, collage, drawing and paint. We're very excited to have the Hot Dots joining us on the day and providing music; adding to the atmosphere with hot rags, intricate instrumental arrangements and close harmonies. 'BUILD' Workshop using Makedo tools

August's theme is HERITAGE WEEK and we'll be using building techniques and cardboard construction, while learning about thatched cottages. Children will have lots of fun using Makedo tools. Makedo is a series of safe cardboard construction tools purposely designed for kids to imagine and build the world they want to see.
